In silent body the abode of soul in search of peace, but restless mind needs to know and spirit loves to live. -- Alexander Braun The universe is a playground and the earth is where we learn how to share it. -- Alexander Braun

μετά φυσικά (metaphysics)

It can be stated as a generality in our Post Modern age that God is all things to all people. The concept of God being the center of human consciousness. Or better put: A force that is self evident throughout all creation. Thus God is revealed plainly by the simple fact that the ability to question weather or not there is a God logically follows the question: What is the nature of such a force in the universe? This is in and of itself the proof of such a force. It requires an equal amount of faith to believe in the non existence of such a force as it does to believe in its existence. As well It must be understood on all levels of the individual (see metaphysics post)

On the social level the general similarities in understanding are the basis for civilized behavior. (or morality) This becomes the root of the collective human consciousness which in turn is the foundation for social law. Though social law in the end varies from culture to culture Its original intent being to maintain peace within a chaotic mass of individualism that seeks solely to appease Mazlo’s hierarchy(1) is not.

The structures of society including the economic engine which drives it mirror the triad of the individual. The conflicts which arise mirroring the state of the internal conflict of mind body and spirit. It is a parallel of two universes which are connected and thus negate the absolute of the blind watchmaker(2). Conflict in essence being the discord caused by the actual or perceived opposition of needs, values and interests.     It is the end result of this action which releases energy necessary to create and forge new states within the universe. An equally direct prarllel to the common understanding of the concept of creation.

*Note: Conflict is the discord between minds. It’s need to involve the physical (on either the social or individual level) is an undermining of higher mental function, and thus conscious (or moral behavior)

If then, Conflict is the dissonance of two minds seeking resolution through a process of releasing such energy in this sense is it negative or is the suppression of conflict (or debate) in the name of peace. . .immoral? Being that energy released from such actions of mental dissonance create the necessary energy to forge new ideas, concepts and understanding. should not the three major world Religions sit in good company with one another to explore their relative harmony’s and discords? would not greater understanding of WHAT the nature of their root interest (God) be better understood and would not this be mutually beneficial. Indeed Jesus Christ the founder of the Christian faith claimed himself to be a Rabbi, then in that case what disagreement do Jews have with Christians that cannot be mutually beneficial? Is not Abraham the common thread between these two and the Islam?

Even within individual faiths denominational segregation negates the understanding of Universal truths. This  making Religion (and its doctrine) live up to its root meaning “In Chains. . .” as the term originally evolved in Latin

THE SEED

in my humble opinion, what God is are the Virtues of I AM THAT I AM, what God isn’t are the Sins of US vs THEM. simple in theory. :) however complex in details…

welcome to the world of metaphysics.

you either don’t fuck around and be the judge or don’t judge and fuck around, you can’t have both at the same time. i am the judge. here is what i think about it all.

God is a word and a word is a human construct that has a definition(s) to convey meaning(s) in order to express thought(s) and/or feeling(s), in this case the concept of whole from individual perspective exploring the dichotomy of all and nothing paradigms, ultimately a word is reviled in a context of a sentence and the enthusing intent behind it of the divine breath, who are people suppose to be representing – the whole – the universe.

.

Metaphysically speaking, God, as i define it, is the physical body located between micro and macrocosm in the centre of the physical universe, where the universe has its centre everywhere and its circumference nowhere, now, now+here=nowhere and the mind’s eye has the whole picture.

.

first. define a word God, i define it as the physical body in the physical universe in the middle of microcosm and macrocosm, where the universe has its centre everywhere and its circumference nowhere.

..

second. the true meaning of a word can only be interpreted in a context of a sentence. place that God word, whatever it means to you, in a sentence and see how it feels, for example, God is both, the God of fear and the God of love.

third. God, Lord God, gods and lords are completely different words.

forth. I am that I am, not us vs them. one is the body, many are the states of consciousness or lack of it. there are four archetypes of people: the shepherd (earth/body), the sheep (water/mind), the dog (air/space), and the wolf (time). and then there are three choices: to play, to work, and to breed. do what thou wilt.

…..

fifth. ah, nevermind. it’s a mystery. I TEGO ARCANA DEI.

.

ok, hence the need to comprehend the metaphysics:

SCIENTIFIC VIEW:

the heart is involuntary muscle and the heartbeat produces positive or negative neuropeptides, which are brain food, they are delivered to the brain via blood and consumed by the neurons creating a negative or a positive reality.

ABOUT THE EGO:

The word ego means “I”, the sense of who “I am”, and is a very vulnerable artifact of developed identity shaped by the experiences of separation. The baby is unconsciously selfish, i.e. ego-centric, the child is a conscious self-serving ego, while the adult develops a persona to rule over their ego in order to protect it and to carry out some important tasks, hence the word ‘persona’ is Greek for a mask.

The ego is the inner love child who is as young as now here having fun playing and is formed and representing the state of separation, the person (mask in Greek) is the outer parent who is as old as the universe planning for then and there and is formed and representing the state of connection.

The ego is never sure of itself because it is an effect not the cause of being and therefore in stressful situations the ego needs to over-assert itself in order to protect itself since the ego knows full well how fragile and vulnerable it is – the psychological foundation of who we think we are – thus an assault on person’s ego can shatter it to pieces and leave person shaken and traumatized for life.

Therefore, watch what you say, to whom you say it, and what for. at the end we will have only our soul for a company, since indeed there is no free lunch in the world, only an illusion of it. so, take care of your body and your body will take care of you – that is the purpose of an ego – to take care of its body, aka the lord of hosts, because the body is holy and the rest is a story.

Body is the cause and mind is the effect. If the mind gets carried away by the ego, becoming “proud”, then it is not serving the body, the Lord of Hosts, “refusing to bow before the Adam”, hence it is either the mind is beloved most beautiful angel of God, the body (as the centre of the universe around*), or the mind is sacrificing its host for somebody else’s benefit, hence the Christ on a cross symbolism and the distinction of various mental states described as demons or angels with multitude of names and functions.

THE GOOD vs THE EVIL

the good vs bad is reference to the quality, the good vs evil is reference to quality of the intent, you are either good, i.e. gaining consciousness, or evil (backwards live) loosing consciousness.

in first case one attains eventually the universal mind, awareness, enlightenment, consciousness, transcending the heaven of supreme unity in i am that i am, the universe.

in the latter case the evil spirit is loosing own soul of the universal consciousness becoming individual unconsciousness in exchange of gaining a particular group consciousness, in the collective unconsciousness, the plural realms of hell, were the battles of US vs THEM rage indefinitely.

the ego is the body’s image of itself, the star child, it never grows older than seven years and spend most of the time in the now pursuing love, fun, play, and pleasure.

the persona, a personality — an adult mask — is a parent aspect of ourselves which is there to protect the body’s ego for it is very fragile, and to provide means for survival, that is fears related to survival, fear of pain, fear of becoming unconscious, and fear of loss. this aspect of our selves is as old as time and has seen it and knows it all.

therein is free choice between good and evil, conscious vs unconscious, sober vs drunk, i am that i am vs us vs them, where the opposites define a scope of available options; one is the body (earth,1) venturing on a journey, the function of the dualities perceived by the mind (water,2), spirit traveling through space (air,3, x,y,z), four is time/speed rhythm (fire,4) and all is the universe of infinite possibilities.

a good hurricane is a reflection of the nature consciousness, the planetary biosphere is a universal consciousness manifest for quiet some time now. i know that from certain other levels of individual consciousness it might look chaotic but like on our cluttered work desk we know where everything is and what for.

you can summon weather elements but then it is your consciousness which is making it either good or evil, it is all in the intent in your heart, the house of your soul. some people have sour relationships with their soul in their heart so the body’s ego, mind, and spirit in some severe cases are not even permitted to visit it and sometimes ever.

Quotes fro “ADAM and the Kabbalistic Tree” by Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi.

“According to the Zohar, the soul is sent down from the upper regions into the asiyyatic World to perform a task both for the universe and itself. If it does not accomplish this, it is returned several times until it does. [...] a person only really exists in the present, living at various levels between Heaven or Hell, according to (the) state of responsibility to (one)self.” p.246 section ‘The Soul — Sleeping Princess’ chapter 29. ‘The Sleeping Beauty’

‎”We can move into a new area, another dimension unknown in ordinary circumstance. Suddenly everything takes on significance as we begin to suspect that our outer world is a reflection of our inner state.” p. 243 ‘Sleeping Princess’

“Unfortunately the natural (hu)man does not wish to know (one)self because it would mean giving up so many illusions created in Yesod, partly by (one’s) environment and partly by the identity (one’s) ego has assumed.” p.242 ‘The Soul’

‎”it is worth mentioning one particular collective archetype, that of the Devil.

[...] there is a realm of Demons, the Kellippot or the World of Shells. Here is a situation in which a Tree is out of balance, or, worse, without a central column. In the first case a Tree may be overactive, or over-passive, creating frenzy on one side and grinding resistance on the other. Both situations can be seen in countries of war or under extreme repression. A civil war contains both malfunctions, and events seen during such awful periods can only be described as demonic. On the personal level the phenomenon of madness, at either end of the scale, demonstrates very clearly the idea of being possessed. Indeed it follows well the notion that if one of the sefirot is unchecked by the others, and is operating directly through Yesod it can blast the ego and project directly out.” p.235 chapter 28 ‘The Collective Unconscious’

‎”Paradise is the home of the soul.” p. 242 ‘The Soul’

(Hu)man, as against animals and plants, possesses a part that is not is not earthbound. (S)he can actually escape, whereas flora and fauna are confined to the planet, being continuously cycled between the two poles of life and death in Nature’s circus. Nearly all traditions talk of this possibility, be it in terms of being born again or escape from the Wheel of Life. (Hu)man, therefore, has within (oneself) the ability to detach (one)self from the level of pleasure and pain. (S)he can leave the world of toil, be released from the curse of Adam and return to Paradise. This can be accomplished by the awakening of the Soul, the cultivation of its consciousness and the realization of its proper place in the Universe.” p. 247 ‘The Soul — Sleeping Princess’

My Comments:

alpha and the omega, first and last letters of Greek alphabet, which was translated from Hebrew aleph (ox) and tav (an x, a cross, meaning a mark), which means ox moving towards a mark (a mark was placed at the edge of the field to help keep the raws straight), [at] means plowshares, moving to be with, you (there, as an opposite of i am here).

Demon means intelligence in Greek, like a virus, smart but working to use the host system as a parasite in order to benefit an external, alien interests and not the soul’s sole owner. naturally, like in a case of annual flu, these spiritual viruses, aka demons, are there to test the integrity and good quality of a soul, a dirty Job’s trials in biblical terms.

in Kabbalistic terms it is quiet simple, the soul’s sole journey is based on the virtuous i am that i am in deeds, words, and thoughts, where the opposites are in symbiosis as the universe, macro and micro, all together as whole.

the real…m of demons, on the opposite, is an arena of the collective unconsciousness circus based on US vs THEM dynamics of plurality where duality is conflicting and competing for the basic vegetable/animal survival.

it is mostly either too young and not knowing enough or too old and knowing way too much of the wrong stuff.

i see life as a necessity not something to desire. obviously we are here for some grand reason… and the less we know about it the better we can feel about ourselves being here in the lowest of all possible worlds. welcome to paradise indeed.

some people speak of consciousness as something outside and separate from the human body, they say that matter does not matter and that it does not even exist, per say, that everything in the world is a forethought of an empty space before time which holds all atoms in the universe together. to that i say that such thinking is utter nonsense.

matter exists and it is a fact and for many people their body is the only manifestation of the universal consciousness. such an arrogance! as though they know how their bodies work and direct its activities like a symphony orchestra. the whole point is to get your mind to the same level of consciousness as your body already has and knows. get real!

as long as the body is being marginalized and the mind is being exalted everybody is going to be in the grave danger of somebody’s mind ruling over everybody else. one is the body, many are the states of the mind.

in the world of I AM THAT I AM (the singularity) — the one and only is the body, many are the states of the mind.

in the world of US vs THEM (the plurality) — the many bodies make up one collective mind, such as religions, governments, corporations, gangs, military, socio-economic elites, etc…, usually they are not very deep and predominately focused on insatiably consuming all available, limited, and non renewable resources to accumulate power and money at any cost to the human and the natural environments. that is why they may come across sounding smart, or being scary, but the collective beast is utterly unconscious.

btw, i am a fan of Joseph Campbell, i love his books about mythology and symbolism; “The Hero with a Thousand Faces”, “The Power of Myth”, etc. great stuff.

# sin ——- name ——- virtue

======================

1. Pride —- Lucifer —— Humility

2. Avarice – Mammon — Sufficiency

3. Lust —– Asmodeus – Chastity

4. Envy —- Leviathan — Charity

5. Gluttony Beelzebub — Sobriety

6. Anger — Satan ——- Patience

7. Sloth —- Belphegor – Diligence

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(…) – comments in brackets by sasha.
#1 – Lucifer (Pride) “bearer of the light.” Latin lux (light) ferre (to carry)
Pride is considered the root of all evil. It is for Pride that Lucifer (Satan, Iblis) fell from the celestial to the subterranean realm. (Welcome to Hell Inc.) The selfish sin is to be “vainglorious” and think oneself better than others. (who are the same whole universe in different time/space/realms) Arrogance blocks the Divine as well as other persons from heart. Pride is invariably seen as a lion. Its opposing virtue is Humility.
#2 – Avarice (Mammon, Money, Greed, Lie)
{…}
#3 – Asmodeus (Lust, carnal)
Lust is carried up from hell by the goat, an animal long considered lascivious, or the ass, who played the same role in ancient Rome. This “sin of the flesh” is said to lead to “uncleanliness” and away from its opposing virtue, Chastity. (Asmodeus in Domicile)
#4 – Leviathan (Envy)
{…}
#5 – Beelzebub (Gluttony, carnal)
Beelzebub, seen as Gluttony, a carnal sin against the body, started out as a Canaanite deity whose name in Hebrew (Baal Zebub) meant Lord of the Flies and who later came to be equated with Satan (the sixth deadly sin – the anger).
In the gospels, Beelzebub is called Prince of the Demons. As a sin, he rules over all excessive eating and drinking. The endless maw of the glutton is never satiated, and he or she is never satisfied. The gluttony lives to eat, a state that soon escalates to forgetting gratitude. The pursuit goes on and leads to a specific damnation: the glutton in hell will dine on toads and be forced to drink putrid water.
The opposing virtue is Sobriety.
#6 – The Satan (Anger)
Anger is another sin of the Devil and one of immense importance and fiery power. It is usually embodied by a sharp-toothed animal such as a leopard with bared fangs, or a wild boar, raging, attacking, ready to commit bloodshed. The consequence of this inflaming indwelling passion is to feel vengeance in one’s heart. This sin escalates to rage, obliterating all but negativity within, and results in murder and war. Often seen in icons, Anger is a creature stabbing himself in the heart with a knife.
Names of Satan: Lucifer, Sammael, Asmodeus, Mephistopheles, the Devil (diabolos = slanderer), Adversary, Legions (6,666), the Satan (abstractor/accuser). Can shape-shift or transform into infinite shapes, even as angel of light and brilliance, for he is the great deceiver.
Lucifer is the mind working for the benefit of the body, the most beautiful and beloved angel of god, the body. Satan, aka the Devil, is the demon of anger, the accuser, the lost mind by way of pride, working against the body of its host. The word Devil comes from De Ville, which is what the country folk in the old days called the city dwellers — the devils.
The opposing virtue is patience.
1 Superbia Pride The Tree of Sins grows from the root of Pride and each of the Seven Deadly Sins then gives rise to further misdeeds (see Schema)
2 Invidia Envy
3 Ira Anger
4 Avaritia Avarice Avarice – reprehensible acquisitiveness; insatiable desire for wealth. Greed – excessive desire to acquire or possess more (especially more material wealth) than one needs or deserves (WordNet (r) 2.0).
5 Tristia Sadness The sin ‘Tristia’ was later replaced by ‘Accidia’, or Sloth (apathy and inactivity in the practice of virtue (WordNet (r) 2.0)) (Wenzel (1967), 38). This sin was taken from earlier catalogues of vice, in particular, the eight evil thoughts listed by Evaagrius (346-99), and the eight principal vices proposed by the mid fourth-century writer Cassian (Wenzel (1967), 14-21). Some of the iconography of the Sins was derived from the descriptions of the Battles between the Virtues and Vices in the Psychomachia by the fourth-century poet Prudentius. Tree of the Seven Deadly Sins
The imagery of Seven Deadly Sins as the branches of a tree can be traced back to the writings of Cassian and Gregory the Great (Bloomfield (1952), 80). The earliest surviving diagrammatic presentations of the Tree of Sin date from the first half of the twelfth century (O’Reilly (1988), 365-66). This imagery seems to originate in the Rhineland and the earliest such depictions are associated with the early twelfth-century tract De fructibus carnis et spiritus which states:
‘It is good to represent the fruits of humility and Pride as a kind of visual image so that anyone studying to improve himself can clearly see what things will result from them. Therefore we show the novices and untutored men two little trees, differing in fruits and in size, each displaying the characteristics of virtues and vices, so that people may understand the products of each and choose which of the trees they would establish in themselves’. (Caiger-Smith (1963), 50) (translated from: Migne (1854), CLXXVI, 997).
The earliest such tree diagram preserved in a manuscript of 1133 from Pergau Monastery (Leipzig, University Library, MS 148 fols 113v) is laid out in the following way:
Top of Tree (Old Adam and Fruits of the Flesh)
Bottom of Tree (Whore of Babylon, left hand on hip and right outstretched)
(Clockwise from the top)
  1. Luxuria Lust
  2. Avaricia Avarice
  3. Ira Anger
  4. Vana Gloria Vain Glory (rather than Pride)
  5. Invidia Envy
  6. Tristicia Sadness (from the original list of Seven Deadly Sins)
  7. Ventris Ingluvies Gluttony
(O’Reilly (1988), pl. 21a)
St George and The Dragon by Alexander Braun acrylic, phosphorus acrylic on canvas 2007 Montreal QB Canada
according to the ancient Egyptian believe, the God’s body, i.e. human body, consists of seven lights and seven shadows of these lights, three of which are immortal and four are mortal, as listed below in order of their departure after death:
the immortal lights
1. Ren – celestial waters – stars – one’s secret name – does not change and is sort of on temporary personal loan.
2. Sekhem – celestial waters – sun – power (i.e. to move limbs) – becomes stronger or weaker during life which determines a type of container a being will occupy in its future life, if it’s necessary. The Sekhem will ask one question: Some succeed in using Me well. Can you make that claim? here, liying will not be an option nor will the mercy.
3. Khu – full moon – divine bird of intelligence (with a human face) – angel of wisdom and empathy, i.e. if a person is hurt the Khu is going to feel it too.
the mortal lights
4. Ba – love of the heart – can speak up or keep silence, since the heart cannot always forgive. some hearts are treacherous, while others cannot endure suffering.
5. Ka – body – double – leaves after 70 days (of embalming are done).
6. Khaibit – shadow – memory and thoughts of the dead
7. Sekhu – the remains – reflection of strength, the last light of the evening (Atum), stays on earth when resurection is required, as it will at the end of days for the Last Judgment soiree.
the procession of human ages, from infants to sages, through different stages.
The massive, young stellar grouping, called R136, is only a few million years old and resides in the 30 Doradus Nebula, a turbulent star-birth region in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way. The One Page Bible by alexander braun toronto . on . canada tuesday 24 may 2011
i am that i am, not us vs them. the steps made of virtues is a lonely journey with each stone made of practice to gain consciousness, the opposite route is a way down, into the pit, the steps are already there so no sweat and it is fast and easy to enter the arena below the checkered board floor, the realms made of sin, us vs them, where resistance is futile without proper attire against all mad hell on a loose while it is busily purifying the well of souls clean, to look within and to feel love and peace, and to be able to have good fun in the universe playground. cheers.
(via Geoff Waltrip)
About the Ego.The word ego means “I”, the sense of who “I am”, and is a very vulnerable artifact of developed identity shaped by the experiences of separation. The baby is unconsciously selfish, i.e. ego-centric, the child is a conscious self-serving ego, while the adult develops a persona to rule over their ego in order to protect it and to carry out some important tasks, hence the word ‘persona’ is Greek for a mask.The ego is never sure of itself because it is an effect not the cause of being and therefore in stressful situations the ego needs to over-assert itself in order to protect itself since the ego knows full well how fragile and vulnerable it is – the psychological foundation of who we think we are – thus an assault on person’s ego can shatter it to pieces and leave person shaken and traumatized for life. Therefore, watch what you say, to whom you say it, and what for. at the end we will have only our soul for a company, since indeed there is no free lunch in the world, only an illusion of it. so, take care of your body and your body will take care of you – that is the purpose of an ego – to take care of its body, aka the lord of hosts, because the body is holy and the rest is a story.Body is the cause and mind is the effect. If the mind gets carried away by the ego, becoming “proud”, then it is not serving the body, the Lord of Hosts, “refusing to bow before the Adam”, hence it is either the mind is beloved most beautiful angel of God, the body (as the centre of the universe around*), or the mind is sacrificing its host for somebody else’s benefit, hence the Christ on a cross symbolism and the distinction of various mental states described as demons or angels with multitude of names and functions.
