(via Billy Warhol) "I remember doing CONTACT Photography Festival '98 at BCE Place (nice venue) + what an eye opener it was trying to mount a show* Fortunately I didn't have to pay for the Space but I did have to find $1000 bux for Insurance (in case 1 of the 1000's of daily visitors + office workers slipped on something)* I lucked out too cuz I think Linda Book of Lonsdale Gallery + Contact organizer may have covered my $300 entrance fee (Thanks to whoever did that!). I also have to give props to Santiago Calatrava the architectural genius behind the Arches (see James Nazim's Pyramid shot). I was stymied by the Light coming in which didn't allow my Digital Photos to be viewed by folks during daylight (oh vell). Props also to the Idio-Audio crew incl. Alexander Braun + Dmytri Kleiner + John Magyar + Marc Ex + DJ's Hubert K + Fish Fry et al who contributed Time + Talent + Positive Vibes to the show* 1st streaming of Photos somewhat live over the Internet + I laffed I was the only participant in the Contact '98 show guide with an email address + website* Ahh those were the daze*"
