Earth Kingdoms 13 September 2014 at 13:03 Although back in the 18th century Mr. Linnaeus was rather bright in his understanding of the natural sciences compared to an average European, he did not see the big picture in the detail that we can see today. "Linnaeus classified humans among the primates (as they were later called) beginning with the first edition of Systema Naturae."*1 The human kingdom is not above, as in superior, but rather as a consequence of all the prior kingdoms: mineral, fungi, plant, and animal, is more like a cup stone of the great pyramid of life on Earth. Humans need all the other kingdoms in order to exist, while the other kingdoms do not need for humans to be around in order to exist. The point is that human kingdom is the result of all the other kingdoms, not their cause. That said, same as with all other kingdoms, that have their own distinct needs, desires, structures, and environments, so is the human kingdom has its own realm of interests and activities, however nonetheless, humans are too part of the big picture, are striving to do our best to maintain the symbiotic co-existence within the human and all other kingdoms. the trick is not to still try to be part of the animal kingdom, acting like an animal and surviving through competition, but to become human and conscious/thinking member of the human kingdom, who are living through collaboration, -- the universal cap stone completing with the four other kingdoms: mineral, fungi, plants, and animals, the pyramid of life: Earth -- Mineral Kingdom (body/God). Water -- Fungi Kingdom (mind/Lord). Air -- Plant Kingdom (space/Spirit). Fire -- Animal Kingdom (time/Soul). Ether -- Human Kingdom (energy/Way). So, yes, we are actually our own separate kingdom, however existing in consequence of all other kingdoms on earth prior to us.*2 hence the name for our species: homo sapiens (Latin: "a wise man"). there are enough of stupid jobs already that do not translate into the common good, or even the workers for that matter. the point is how to abolish all stupid jobs and have society to focus on what needs to be done and then do it efficiently and effectively leaving people free to do what they want to do.
