The GMI is based on the concept that members of a particular economy are also shareholders of it, thus they have claim for the dividend of its GDP, that is proportional to the inflation rate, and satisfies the national charter rights, and the international obligations of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, such as article 25. 

No need to reinvent the wheel. Many economists and social philosophers have looked into this matter with better intellectual results than confusing the two different concepts, the why being paid with the who is being paid. No one is arguing that shareholders should get their dividend, and that the employees should get their salaries, and that the customers should get their proper goods and services. 

If the current system dies not respect the rights of its rightful shareholders based on common sense and fairness, what then can be expected of such a system to treat the otherwise marginalized population? Rhetorical.

The reality that a human society has different status members based on the nationality, region, education, age, health, socio-economic background, standing with the law, etc. The question here is how to hold the system of common wealth distribution so that it is fair and just to its members and is within the legal framework which protects the rights of individual human beings, would it be as the individual citizens, visitors, employees, investors, public servants, or simply a human being member of the world.
