"Red meat triggers toxic immune reaction which causes cancer, scientists find" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/11316316/Red-meat-triggers-toxic-immune-reaction-which-causes-cancer-scientists-find.html The Human Diet i would add that only the enzymes present in the O+ blood types can brake down the red meat proteins, which is majority of people, however i agree that young, developing bodies of that blood type have more benefit from eating it and in moderate amounts, as is everything else. For all other groups i would recommend fish, dairy, nuts, seeds, rice and beans, for proteins, along with the herbs, spices, vegetables, fruits, berries, the maple syrup, and honey. Well balanced, fresh, organic diet with occasional detox. Humans have long digestive tracks and acids, unlike the carnivores, meant for digesting fruits and vegetables, which explains why so many people are lactose intolerant or have adverse reaction to the red meat. That said, the availability of the food varies with climate and time, thus during the long periods of the Ice Ages, lasting around 80,000 years, the plant-based diet is simply unavailable, or scarce, thus the body has developed an "addiction" or craving for the fats, salts, and sugars that are hard to find during such times, and like the Eskimos living in the arctic, managed to adopt to the mainly animal based diet due to the lack of everything else. Thus the body, just like the mind, has its own substances it is addicted to, or craves for, and those are: fat, salt, and sugar. Hence one has to monitor their cravings for these substances, for, as in any addiction, it is easy to overdo it, causing negative instead of positive effects. That is why all junk foods contains either fat, salt, or sugar, or the combination of the three. The human bodies have evolved to survive on the red meat, aka the Atkins diet, however, surviving is not the same as living a quality lifestyle, thus such eating habits come with the hidden price of fatigue, anxiety, anger, eventual health problems, and short lifespans. As for the availability of the necessary for proper function proteins and everything else, the truth is, the human body is very resourceful and can find what it needs within the diverse pescetarian diet, regardless of the blood type. Sure some red meat, alcohol, etc is not going to do much harm in small amounts, but the consumption of it should be controlled and mindful, not mindless, for the abuse of any substance has severe ramifications for the health and well being. I am aware of Michael Schmidt and the raw milk movement, same as with the organic meat, i am not arguing that eating properly raised and treated foods is worst than eating badly produced, raised food. The point is what food is proper for human consumption and its long lasting effects on human health. As far as the human genetics, we are virtually clones of each other, since our genetic diversity is almost nil when compared to the animals, aside the cheetahs, tracing to sabout ten thousand humans from whom the rest of us have evolved, making all people on earth roughly 40th cousins to each other. The human genetic physiology, comparatively, in not very diverse at all, and is actually uniform throughout the human kingdom, genome, however, that said, slight genetic differences, both inherit and acquired, still result in great diversity of life, as we know it, along with how it expresses itself throughout the life, depending and appropriate for the age, metabolism, blood types, body types, health condition, lifestyle, allergies, climate, environment, activities, and so on, therefor nurturing and maintenance of well being should be considered on the individual basis, for what is mean t for one is not necessarily meant for another.
