it is an ancient dichotomy of the good vs evil and the free choices to make in one's lifetime(s). <3 i am this i am, not US O:) vs THEM 3:). Got to get the metaphysics sorted out or else the evil can be very deceiving and not always obvious.

every soul will have to face making choices either for the good or not good at all. the trick is to distinct the right from wrong and if mistake is made then learn from it and move along. fighting hate with hate is not going to work. sure, do what it takes to protect your body, for God is the body, and your soul will be just fine. 

Ultimately the intent driving each action will determine the ultimate outcome either good or bad and for how long God only knows. The universe is one and all is known by it. One can't hide from the repercussions however one can also change for the better, at least one would hope so. Ultimately we are creating our own destiny into eternity. 

The old proverb says, the universe has its centre everywhere and its circumference nowhere. another one is, at the summit of life one has only their soul for a company. or, to be one who is is not to be someone else. etc etc. old wisdom is anew again as souls arrive to the realizations and move on to face different challenges, goals, and expectations.
