DICHOTOMY, as in LEFY & RIGHT Some say the Yin Yang points that at the centre of one is the opposite another. That all good are at the heart are evil and that all evil are at the heart are good. That's like saying that at the centre of one side of dichotomy lies the opposite side of that dichotomy, for example, that at the centre of cold lies the hot, and vise versa. It makes no sense and is improper understanding of the dichotomy and what it represents. The dichotomies are the polar opposites of each other, describing the whole object of reference, thus at the centre of the good is good, not bad, which is at the centre of bad, when describing the quality, or evil, when describing the intent to do harm, hence judge a tree by its fruit. Being virtues is not the same as being sinful, therefor one has a consciousness to know the difference. The Yin Yang, just like the image of Baphomet, describes the inherent dichotomy of nature; The symbol of Yang (FA), is associated with the heaven, sun, mountain, summer, day, bright day, spirit, masculine, male, father, above, outer, hot, hard, dry, light, lively, movement, noisy, functional, positive, sharpness, crowded, active, flourishing. Yang years are that end with either 0 or even numbers, while... The symbol of Yin (MAA), is representative of earth, moon, valley, winter, night, cloudy day, matter, feminine, female, mother, below, inner, cold, soft, wet, dark, dull, still, silent, non functional, negative, magnetic, lonely, passive, decaying. Chinese Yin years that end with the odd number. No matter how hard you try, there is simply no dark at the heart of light and no light at the heart of dark, no wet is dry at its centre and no dry is wet at its centre either, etc. That's simply misunderstanding the nature of the dichotomy and what it represents. The reason Yin Yang, or Bathomet, point to the two mutually opposing concepts, i.e. black and white, or up and down, front and back, is because those are the extreme bipolar opposites which describe the whole set of available options represented in scope of the dichotomy. Thus, going UP is not the same as going DOWN, although the two directions hold in themselves all possible options, with the opposing concepts serving as the extreme points of reference in relation to each other.
