The 58th Grammy Awards, Canadian Style.

i saw my friend Jan Haust the other day, he was telling me about his experience as a winner of the 58th GRAMMY AWARD in the category of BEST HISTORICAL ALBUM for The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11 (Steve Berkowitz, Jan Haust & Jeff Rosen, compilation producers; Peter J. Moore & Mark Wilder, mastering engineers (Bob Dylan And The Band) Label: Columbia/Legacy).*1

how he has stuck his head in a moment of glory into the original Edison's grandfather  gramophone graphophone phonograph paleophone phonautograph radiogram diamond disc record player flaring horn,*2 apparently the only one to do so during the official ceremony. Notably he is the only Canadian producer who got a Grammy, along with the sonic magician Peter J. Moore as a sound engineer, for the work done on this project.

Jan has also made the maître d' to cater lunch outside which he has then shared with a homeless man, no lie, all along dressed in a tax with a big pink bow tie! Punk Rock!!
