What & When To Eat Or Not To Eat, That Is The Question. By Alexander Braun, Toronto, 17 April 2014. i do not subscribe to the vegan propaganda, however i agree that animals and plants have to be treated ethically. I was vegan for almost four years, after switching from mostly meat based diet, but after trying the both lifestyles i have settled on the Piscaterian diet which works for me. All life is based on other life. plants want to live healthy as much as the animals. i follow the blood-type diet. Different blood types produce different enzymes that brake different proteins. The vegan diet is extreme opposite of the meat based Atkins diet. Unless one has O+ blood type i would not recommend eating meat. However the proponents of the vegan diet have to watch out for GMO corn, canola, soy, and other chemically treated, irradiated, canned/processed products. The Piscaterian diet of fish and dairy along with the grains, berries, nuts, fruits, and veggies is the golden middle for many blood types. naturally one has to consider the quality of food products regardless of what it is. Don't panic if it's organic. Usually in the morning people would eat power breakfast to get charged for the day with enough calories to burn, later in the afternoon the lunch provides all the essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, and what is needed by the system, not too much and not too little, just enough to maintain vital functions, then later in the evening the food is consumed for the sensation of taste and the pleasure of eating. i am this i am, not us vs them. everyone has to figure out their own diet and path in life.
